With nutsa'maat shqwaluwun (good feelings working together), Yos Economic Development was established as the economic development arm of MÁLEXEŁ (Malahat Nation). Yos is mandated to pursue, implement, and manage economic opportunities that honour MÁLEXEŁ values and snuw'uyulth (teachings) while generating long-term revenue streams and career opportunities.
The elected leadership of MÁLEXEŁ provide this mandate to Yos with the goal of creating growth and prosperity for current and future generations of MÁLEXEŁ mustimuhw (Members); while establishing MÁLEXEŁ mustimuhw as a leader in economic development and innovation.
